The CSC’s annual Welcome Programme for new Commonwealth Scholars and Fellows was held on 20-21 November 2011, at the University of Edinburgh.
The programme ranged from briefings on the work of the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission and how Scholars and Fellows can get involved in the CSC Community, to a Question Time-style session on reshaping the Commonwealth, to a talk on UK politics after the 2010 General Election (given by Professor Justin Fisher, Director of the Magna Carta Institute at Brunel University).
A breakout session on the first afternoon gave Scholars and Fellows the chance to find out more about the CSC’s range of Professional Networks. Discussion papers for the sessions are available to download:
