Taylor & Francis and the CSC recognise the importance of publication for early career researchers, research dissemination in the interests of addressing global challenges, and supporting innovative outputs which will benefit your field of work and wider society. To encourage and reward the publication achievements of Commonwealth Scholars a prize is offered for the most outstanding article published in a recognised peer-review journal of high standing by a current or recent doctoral Commonwealth Scholar.
2019 marks the 60th anniversary of the CSC. To celebrate, the 2019 Taylor & Francis Commonwealth Scholar Best Journal Article Prize will be awarded to a Scholar and alumni winner who will each have the opportunity to attend the CSC’s research impact showcase event, taking place in May 2019, and deliver a short presentation on their winning research paper. The winners will also receive a small grant towards attending a conference or research event of their choice. As part of the prize, judges will also be selecting a number of highly commended entrants who will be invited to exhibit their research at the CSC’s research impact showcase event.
All Scholars and alumni eligible to take part in the prize will have received an email with full details on the eligibility criteria and how to enter. If you have not received this notification and think that you are eligible to enter, please email alumni@cscuk.org.uk
