Alumnus named as new vice-chancellor

Professor Adetokunbo Sofoluwe (Commonwealth Scholar, MSc Numerical Analysis, University of Edinburgh, 1974) has been appointed the new Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Nigeria.

Professor Sofoluwe, whose academic area is in computing, was the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Management Service) of UNILAG and, between March 2005 and November 2006, he was the Director of Academic Planning Unit of the university.
