How can entrepreneurship be a vehicle for development?
How can entrepreneurial activity contribute to inclusive economic growth, social innovation, and resilience in the face of global challenges? In what ways does entrepreneurship offer a locally driven alternative to traditional development models?
Drawing on the experiences of entrepreneurs from the inaugural cohort of the Commonwealth Startup Fellowship, a new accelerator co-delivered by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in the UK (CSC) and Imperial Enterprise Lab, this panel will reflect on the role of entrepreneurship in advancing sustainable development across the Commonwealth.
The discussion will examine entrepreneurship not merely as business creation but as a mechanism for inclusive growth, building resilience, and problem solving in areas such as health, education and climate.
