Judith Akoto (North East)

Judith Akoto is a Commonwealth Shared Scholar from Ghana and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Sustainability, Energy, and Development at Durham University. She has a diverse background in law, medicine, and fashion, with over a decade of experience working in the fashion industry across Africa and internationally.

Judith has sharpened her skills in project management, brand development, and youth empowerment through her roles as managing partner at Africa’s first non-alcoholic bar – Eden Bar – and as a mentor. 

Passionate about sustainability and development in Africa, Judith’s current academic focus is on advancing sustainable goals in alignment with global climate initiatives. She is dedicated to empowering young people through her work with the Purposeful Project, a platform she leads to help individuals discover their purpose and develop a growth mindset.
