Joline Manyeh (Wales)
Joline Manyeh is a Sierra Leonean Commonwealth Scholar currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Public Health and Health Promotion at Swansea University. Her current course is fuelled by a fervent commitment to promoting community wellbeing through evidence-based health initiatives.
She has obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health from Njala University, Sierra Leone. During her undergraduate years, she engaged in internships with non-governmental organisations, where she contributed to the development of health promotion campaigns addressing issues such as reproductive health and maternal concerns in disadvantaged communities. She also served as Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at the National Malaria Control Programme – Sierra Leone, where she worked with the team to make decisions on malaria initiatives using malaria health data. These experiences solidified her dedication to the field and inspired her to pursue advanced studies.
She looks forward to creating memorable and fun-filled moments with other Scholars.
Tililenji Mwanza (Northern Ireland)
Tililenji Mwanza is Commonwealth Scholar from Zambia pursuing a Master’s degree in Public Health from Queen’s University Belfast. Tililenji holds a MBBS from Chuvash State University, and subsequently passed the National Licensing Examination by the Health Professional Council of Zambia (HPCZ) in Lusaka, Zambia
After practising for 4 years as a medical doctor in rural Zambia, Tililenji decided to join the Zambia Air Force where she successfully completed Air Force Military Training and holds a position as a captain.
Tililenji is focused on helping women and girls improve their health with a focus on sexual reproductive health and believes that once the high rates of preventable deaths are addressed, Zambia will attain the SDGs, especially those related to SDG 3 and 5.
