In honour of HM Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee, the Royal Commonwealth Society (RCS) is assembling the world’s biggest online time capsule that will cover each day of her 60-year headship of the Commonwealth.

This will be a people’s history from all over the Commonwealth. The RCS wants to hear from you about what has happened in your own families, communities and countries in this time. How do those big, global events fit into your own life and that of your family’s? Between March 2011 and March 2012, you will be able to enter your own histories about a day in the last 60 years which is important to you or your country.

This is a chance to take part in the world’s biggest online history time capsule, win some good prizes, and share your stories. It will form a prominent Commonwealth dimension and digital legacy to Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee in 2012. For more information, please visit the Jubilee Time Capsule website or contact Catherine Clark at the RCS.
