Welcome Home Event

Date: 09/02/2023

Duration: 10:00 – 12:45

Location: Umodzi Park

Welcome home recently returned Commonwealth Scholars from Malawi!

This event will provide an opportunity to welcome home recently returned Commonwealth Scholars from Malawi following their studies in the UK and introduce them to the local alumni network.

This is an opportunity for recently returned Scholars to make valuable connections with fellow Commonwealth Alumni who could provide guidance and support towards achieving professional and developmental goals.

The welcome home event will take place over two sessions; a morning session on leveraging skills for employability and looking after your health and wellbeing, and an evening reception hosted by the British High Commissioner to Malawi. The evening reception will bring together recently returned Scholars from both Commonwealth Scholarships and Chevening Scholarships.

If you are a recently returned Commonwealth Scholar from Malawi would like to attend this event, please contact Caroline Kiconco at Caroline.Kiconco@britishcouncil.or.ug
