Science and technology for development
In this webinar, Commonwealth Alumnus Dr Vishal Sharma will discuss his research on the development of low-cost, fully printable solar photovoltaic devices for mitigating climate change and global warming.
Dr Sharma will share some visible facts on climate change and global warming as seen globally and explain the reasons behind the urgent need to develop alternative, low-cost solar technology to replace popular mature silicon solar cells to achieve net zero targets, as campaigned by United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
The webinar will last for approximately 1 hour, including a Q&A session.
The CSC’s Knowledge Hub webinar series is now open to all Commonwealth Scholars and Alumni. Through the series, Commonwealth Scholars and Alumni will discuss their work and contribution to development across a range of contemporary global challenges, and provide insight into ongoing research and action.
