Chamari Palliyeguru and Lord Davies, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State of the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs
Chamari Palliyeguru (Commonwealth Scholar, PhD Poultry Nutrition and Related Biotechnology, Harper Adams University College) has been awarded the British Poultry Council 2009 Scholarship Award for her research work.
Chamari was presented with her prize – £1,000 and a medal – at an awards ceremony on 1 December 2009 in the House of Commons Members’ Dining Room.
