Celebrating 65 years of Commonwealth Scholarships in South Africa

On 30 January, Commonwealth Scholars in South Africa will celebrate 65 years of the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in the UK (CSC) with a development impact showcase event and panel discussion. The event will provide alumni with a platform to connect, share their experiences and explore opportunities for collaboration.

The event has been organised with support from the CSC’s alumni association in South Africa, COSFA-SA.

This event will include a range of engagements:

  • Panel discussion on ’65 years of the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in the UK (CSC) empowering women and girls to become global leaders through education’
  • Alumni exhibition showcase: Celebrating Alumni Achievements. The exhibition will feature the work and achievements of Commonwealth Scholars and Alumni from various fields.
  • Networking session: Connecting Alumni, Connecting Opportunities. Through this informal networking session, alumni will have the opportunity to connect with each other and stakeholders in attendance to explore opportunities for collaboration.
  • Business garage: Showcasing Alumni Entrepreneurship. The business garage will showcase alumni entrepreneurial ventures, products and services.
