Many countries in Africa are vulnerable to climate threats. He highlighted the gaps in global and Africa’s climate action and challenges in financing climate adaption plans. Derek discussed special innovative strategies initiated by African Development Bank to leverage private finance towards climate adaptation efforts in Africa.
This webinar presentation was followed by an interactive Q&A session with Commonwealth Scholars and Alumni. A recording of this webinar is available to view on the CSC’s YouTube channel where you can also watch previous events in the series.
