Workshop application process
Scholars are asked to complete the Leaders in Sustainable Development programme application form no later than 12pm (BST) Monday 14 April 2025, to register their interest in the workshops.
Workshop places will be allocated based on responses in the personal statement section of the application form, which will be scored according to the level of relevance and detail supplied.
Scholars will be informed of their chosen workshop place on Wednesday 16 April 2025 and asked to note the time and date of their workshop in their diaries.
Scholars are asked to confirm their attendance at their chosen workshop before the workshop date to secure their place.
Final details of workshops, including any preparation work, will be sent a week before the workshop date.
Any available workshop places will be opened for new applicants a week before the workshop date.
Certification
Scholars will have the chance to gain certificates of attendance towards the end of the academic year once they have completed the FutureLearn training and attended a Leaders in Sustainable Development workshop.
To be eligible to receive the certificates, they will be required to submit their reflections on the workshop(s) they have attended in their Development Training Record and to have completed the ‘Understanding Development Impact’ training on FutureLearn along with the post-workshop evaluation surveys sent by the CSC Engagement Team. We will provide more information about the Development Training Record submission deadline once the Leaders in Sustainable Development programme has ended.
