The climate crisis affects every person, every country and every region. Big ideas from the best minds are needed to help tackle this crisis. Watch scholarship teams from Chevening, CSC, and Marshall pitch their innovative climate solutions, to win a place in the grand final.

130 alumni from across the Chevening, CSC, and Marshall scholarship programmes have been working in teams to develop inventive and original policy proposals aimed at addressing the challenges presented by climate change.

Between 19-21 October, 38 climate change hackathon teams will present their innovative policy proposals to a panel of expert judges. 3 presentation events will take place, representing teams whose policy proposal address one of the four COP26 Goals, followed by a grand final presentation event. The winning team will be invited to present their ideas at a closed roundtable discussion with senior climate change experts and government officials.

Two members from each team will deliver a 5-minute presentation on their policy proposal and take 1-2 questions from the panel and audience members. Following the presentation event, judges will select a winning team for each goal who will go on to present at a grand final event where an overall winning team will be chosen.
