Dr Adam Lewandowski was presented with the 2013 Taylor & Francis Commonwealth Scholar Best Journal Article Prize at a ceremony at the Association of Commonwealth Universities in London on 13 May 2014.
Amongst the guests at the event were Jessica Vivian, Editorial Director, Social Sciences, Taylor & Francis, Professor Tim Unwin, Chair of the CSC, Hasna Bloore, Academic Relations Officer, Canadian High Commission, members of the judging panel CSC Commissioners and the CSC secretariat team.

Adam was awarded the 2013 Best Journal Article Prize for his article ‘Preterm Heart in Adult Life: Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance Reveals Distinct Differences in Left Ventricular Mass, Geometry, and Function’ (Circulation, the Journal of the American Heart Association, Vol 127, Issue 2, 2013). The prize comprises £1,500 and a year’s personal subscription to a journal of his choice.
