Commonwealth Scholarships Alumni Association of Kenya (CSAAK) launch their 2024 event series
The Commonwealth Scholarships Alumni Association of Kenya (CSAAK) is launching a year-long series focused on wealth creation. The first talk in the series will take place on 20 June 2024 and discuss accounting, finance and taxation.
The objectives of this virtual event are to:
- Inform alumni about the importance of filing their tax returns, including a detailed discussion on the structure and requirements of the tax return forms.
- Educate alumni on their potential tax obligations, ensuring they are aware of any responsibilities they may have previously overlooked.
- Equip alumni with the knowledge they need to effectively manage their tax responsibilities and contribute to their overall financial well-being.
Through this event series, the CSAAK hopes to connect with Commonwealth Alumni from and living in Kenya to foster a sense of community and provide valuable insights to support the development of financial literacy and tax compliance.
