Exploring access, inclusion and opportunity in Zambia
For their final event of 2024, the Commonwealth Alumni Association of Zambia (CAAZ) will bring alumni together to discuss factors influencing access to opportunities in Zambia.
The discussion will cover topics related to:
- Equitable scholarship opportunities and the barriers to achieving gender balance
- The importance of digital inclusion and the impact of digital literacy initiatives for marginalised communities
- The availability and effectiveness of career development resources for underrepresented groups and their impact on creating equitable professional opportunities
- Evaluating the effectiveness of initiatives that promote equal education opportunities for boys and girls, particularly in STEM and the arts
- Strategies and metrics for measuring inclusivity in the workplace, focusing on gender sensitive practices and support for people with disabilities
- Accessibility of funding and mentorship for entrepreneurs
- The impact of inclusive policies in reducing inequality
- The impact of target skills development programmes in reducing employment gaps and preparing individuals for emerging industries
