Professor Samuel Anbahan Ariadurai (Commonwealth Scholar, Textile Technology, University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology) has been recently promoted to Professor of Textile and Apparel Technology at the Department of Textile and Apparel Technology of the Open University of Sri Lanka.
He has also been appointed as Professor of Technical Textiles and Head of the Textile Research and Innovation Centre of the Textile Institute of Pakistan, Karachi, for a period of two years, undertaken during his sabbatical period.
