Zomba Municipal Assembly in Malawi sent one of their employees on a Commonwealth Professional Fellowship to Coleraine Borough Council.
‘The knowledge and experience gained has made a difference at work, having established six outreach centres under five clinics, which has helped to bring down congestion at the main clinic.
‘The Professional Fellow has gained a lot of skills and knowledge in health care management and has been exposed to the British code of practice. This has been noticed in a number of reforms that the Fellow is introducing in the overall management of our clinic, which has resulted in an improvement in service delivery.’
