Acknowledging CSC funding
When you submit your research to journals, or editors of anthologies, or conference papers, you will need to include an acknowledgement of funding by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in the UK (CSC). You should use the following statement as your acknowledgement:
The research reported here was funded by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission and the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office in the UK. I am grateful for their support. All views expressed here are those of the author(s) not the funding body.
You may need to add acknowledgements to co-authors. If your co-authors are also required to acknowledge their own funding, please ensure that acknowledgment of Commonwealth Scholarship funding is attributed to you.
Using the CSC logo for presentations and posters
You should include the CSC logo in formally assessed or external research presentations and conference posters during your scholarship. Please email communications@cscuk.org.uk to request a copy of the CSC logo.
Guidelines for using the CSC logo
Please refer to the Visual Identity Guidelines before using the CSC logo in your materials. The guidelines include best practice examples for you to follow.
In most instances, the full colour version of the primary logo should be used. However, in some cases it may be necessary to use one of the alternative logos. The secondary logo should only be used when there is insufficient contrast between the primary logo and the background.
You should ensure the logo is an appropriate and proportional size for the presentation or poster you are preparing and that it is correctly positioned with clear space around the outside.
You must not distort, recolour, rearrange, crop, or apply effects to the logo.
If you have any queries about using the CSC logo in your presentation or poster, please contact communications@cscuk.org.uk for more information.
