On 2 February 2024, recently returned Commonwealth Scholars from Sri Lanka gathered in Colombo to share their experiences studying in the UK and meet Commonwealth Alumni.
The event featured an informative panel discussion comprised of the five recently returned scholars. They shared insights about their studies, experiences of living in the UK, and short- and long-term plans to apply their new skills and knowledge. The returning scholars represented a diverse range of subjects, including dementia studies, crop science, and geographical information systems.
Following the panel discussion, scholars and alumni took part in an interactive networking session.
