Selecting a workshop
To help you find the right workshop for you, please see our quick guide to the Leaders in Sustainable Development workshops. The quick guide shows how the learnings from the Understanding Development Impact training course correspond to the content that will be explored in each of the Leaders in Sustainable Development workshops.
We recommend that you use this guide to identify the areas of knowledge you would like to develop further following the Understanding Development Impact training course. You can then find out more about the individual workshops and how they will support specific skills development on the CSC Events page. Please click on the workshop titles to find out more about each workshop.
Workshop application process
Please complete the Leaders in Sustainable Development workshop application form by 21 October 2022 to register your interest in attending any of the workshops above. All eligible Scholars have received the application form by email from the CSC Engagement Team.
Workshop places will be allocated based on your responses in the personal statement section of the application form. All responses will be scored according to the level of relevance and detail supplied.
You will be informed about which workshop you have been selected for and asked to note the date and time of the workshop in your diaries.
You will be asked to confirm your attendance at your chosen workshop at least two weeks before the scheduled date of the session to secure your place. You will receive final details of workshops, including any preparation work, in the week before the workshop date.
If there are any spare places at a workshop, the CSC will notify you a week before the workshop date and invite registrations of interest about attending.
If you have any queries about the application process, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
You will have the chance to gain a certificate of attendance towards the end of the academic year once they have completed the FutureLearn training and attended a Leaders in Sustainable Development workshop.
To be eligible to receive a certificate of attendance, you will need to submit your reflections on the workshop(s) you have attended as part of your Development Training Record and complete the post-workshop evaluation surveys sent by the CSC Engagement Team.
