Professional Fellowships in 2023: Clean Energy, Air and Oceans

In 2022/23, the CSC is running a Professional Fellowship programme promoting Clean Energy, Air and Oceans in response to the UK government’s call to action at last year’s COP26 in Glasgow. Taking their lead from the Glasgow Climate Pact, participating organisations must demonstrate how their programmes will contribute to reducing reliance on fossil fuels, lowering rates of air pollution or promoting marine conservation.

The programme will fund a maximum of 20 fellows in up to 5 host organisations working in this policy area.  Networking between the fellows and host organisations is built into the programme to allow more sharing of skills and a broader perspective of key issues.  In celebration of this one-year programme, additional funding will be provided to each host to hold an event for all the fellows taking part in the scheme.

The Clean Energy, Air and Oceans Fellowships will:

  • Begin on Wednesday 22nd February 2023
  • Run for three months (until Tuesday 23rd May 2023)
  • Promote collaboration across host organisations through each host holding an engagement event for the full cohort of fellows
  • Provide legacy funding for Fellowship alumni to collaborate on future events after the programme ends
