In response to the UK government’s call to action at last year’s COP26 in Glasgow, the CSC’s Time Limited Programme (TLP) for 2022-2023 is focused on Clean Energy, Air and Oceans.
As part of this TLP and to support individuals working in these areas across the Commonwealth, the CSC has welcomed 19 Professional Fellows to spend three months at one of 5 UK Host Organisations between February and May 2023. This is the second time the CSC is offering a Professional Fellowship Programme focused on a specific theme. It offers mid-career professionals from low and middle income Commonwealth countries the opportunity to step away from their day-to-day work and focus on developing the skills, network and knowledge they need to deepen and expand their impact in their chosen field.
We recently welcomed all Fellows to the UK at our Welcome Event held at the University of Edinburgh (who are also one of this year’s hosts). Throughout the next three months, each of the hosts will hold an event at their organisation for all Fellows to learn more about their work in this area and facilitate opportunity for Fellows to share their experience and discuss future collaborations or share new ideas that may support initiatives in their home countries.
