Marine litter is a major challenge across Kenya’s vast and varied coastlines, with plastics the largest and most harmful element, accounting for at least 85% of total marine waste. This and other waste is choking the oceans, inflicting permanent harm on marine ecosystems and wildlife, and threatening biodiversity and marine-based economies.

The campaign aimed to raise awareness of vocational training opportunities for internally displaced girls aged between 5-17 years and vulnerable people aged between 18-35 years whose lives and education has been affected by the Anglophone Crisis in the Southwest region of Cameroon.

Human rights in relation to sexual orientation and gender identity are a pressing issue across the Commonwealth.
